Road to Recovery???

Liam slept 4 hours in a row last night! 9 to 1!!! Too bad I was up trying to figure out this silly blog until nearly midnight. As usual, I have been up since around 4. Good thing my children are worth it!

Today was a school day for Dylan. BTW... she doesn't even say goodbye any more. Once we walk into the building she is hyper focused on getting to her class room to start playing. If I remember, next week I may stick around for a sec to see what it is she is so excited about. Anywho, I dropped her off and was off with Liam to a list of appointments meant to start the process of brining me out of the post new baby funk. Skin, Hair, Eyebrows, and a Pedi to finish off the day. I'm not sure how much it helped yet, but getting outside in the 70 degree weather was a good pick-me-up. Next week is new make-up and clothes. Hopefully that will be a big boost. On a side note, I just finished up the thin mints that those evil little munchkins sell every year. Now time for the post baby diet. Hopefully I'll find some impulse control. Lack of sleep does not help much.

Side notes for the day...
Dylan has stopped eating breakfast, so I called around and got some good tips from a friend.
Dylan wanted to go potty and when I tried to sit her down on it, she started screaming, "I want to go like PaPa!" Thanks, Dad
I have decided not to go to Beauty and the Beast this weekend. Just too soon to leave him for 4ish hours in the evening. You are welcome Aaron:)
Tomorrow morning we are going to the zoo! Yea!

Here is Dylan in her Valentine's Day outfit with her new lunch box from Bri.

This is a test. I repeat, this is only a test:)

Today was beautiful! We went to the park with friends in the morning, then off for a walk around the block in the afternoon. D looked so cute in her new glasses from Teresa, but by the time I got out the camera, of course they were off. When I asked D to put them back on for a picture, this is what I got...

Typical! Well at least she put them on:)

This next series signals the beginning of the end of our little outing. D noticed a new bush. The name escapes me right now, but the owners haven't trimmed it up in several years, so it is a perfect hiding spot for little ones. I just love it that even though we have walked around this same block 50+ times, D can still find something new.

Wait, wait, I think I bumped my...

Yep, Yep, I deffinitatly bumped my head. I need to cry about it for a sec.

Okay all better.

Now back to business!

Thus concluded our walk. Needless to say, we took the short way home.
